I am so grateful that someone is still making music like this. Jimmie somehow finds the sweet spot between classics, reinterpreting classic, and being his own voice. His time is impeccable, his lines draw you in, he plays (and sings!) just the right notes while allowing plenty of space, and every once in a while plays something I’ve never heard anyone else play in my life. He keeps you listening and feeling. Vaughan is an original and a treasure.

No one else makes me feel like I’m sitting in a juke juke joint in Texas like Mr. Jimmie Vaughn. It has this edge that just has to be felt. I listen to his music about 2 to 1 cause I like the way it makes me feel. Thank you Mr Vaughn for more gold.

All the original bluesmen and woman are gone, with the exception of the Real Buddy Guy! Jimmie, once again has the blues rooted deep into his soul. This is a killer album just off the three sonhs listed.
