In 2004, when Joey Stylez sought to bring Native American presence and fashion to the urban mainstream, many believed that it was an impossible dream. Stylez proudly wore a pendleton print coat in his controversial music video "Living Proof" about Residential Schools in 2007. In 1999 he had feathers and dreamcatchers tattooed all over his body, which have been adapted by popular culture proving his goal has been reached.
